Window Top Treatments
Our team works closely with each client to design and craft window coverings and accessories that meet these unique needs.
Step 1 – Telephone Interview
Before your initial face-to-face consultation, we will spend time talking with you on the phone. This conversation will allow us to get a feel for your style, current or desired interior color palette, functional needs, etc. This will help us create a design that is perfect for your home and your style.
Step 2 – In-Home Consultation
The design process continues with an in-home consultation. This saves you time and allows you to view fabric samples in the rooms where they will be used. We will help you find the perfect fabric and accoutrements to coordinate with your home’s décor. While at your home, we will obtain detailed window measurements to ensure your custom design will be a perfect fit for your windows.
Step 3 – Fabric and Hardware Selection
After returning to the design studio, we will create 2-3 design options and select the fabrics, trims, and hardware that will seamlessly blend your personal style with your functional needs. Rest assured that we have years of experience and a large library of resources for all parts of the design process.
Step 4 – Design Review
Depending on the complexity of the project, we will meet with your in our studio or in your home to review our design recommendations. We will present sketches or photographs of the proposed designs, as well as fabric, trim and hardware samples.
Step 5 – Fabrication
Once the designs are selected, we will begin the process of crafting your window coverings or soft furnishings using the couture techniques learned through years of study and experience. In most cases, you will have your new creations in your home in 4 to 8 weeks. Like fine wine, crafting of a quality product takes time!
Final Step (6) – Installation
When fabrication is completed, we will schedule an installation appointment. We ensure that your custom creations are handled with care and installed with precision by our master installer.
